Network Security Engineer

Job Overview
Configuration and Management of Network and Security services.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ability to work independently.
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware such as Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VPN, Load balancers, Proxy, SDWAN
- Ability to deploy the Cisco Security Portfolio
- Ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP communications at packet level, through stateful firewalls, VPNs or on LAN networks.
- Have hands-on experience in the deployment of Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass products.
- Have good experience working with large enterprise deployments of advanced AAA infrastructure.
- Have a good understanding of the creation of Advance Classification / Control / Compliance Policy.
- Additional experience in implementation and support of Aruba AirWave, Wireless and multi-vendor VPN understanding is advantageous.
- Ability to deploy the Cisco Security Portfolio
Education and Experience
- 4-10 Years of experience in networking and Security
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- CCNA Certification or equivalent certification
Required Skills/Abilities
- Hands-on experience in Cisco Firewalls, SOPHOS, Fortinet, Checkpoint or Palo Alto
- Extensive support of Routing Protocols/Technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS VPN, and Multicast.
- Proficiency in Handling Network related calls regarding Cisco, firewall, endpoint, etc.
- Additional knowledge of SDWAN, SIEM, and SOAR is an added advantage.
